Six players will be on an Opening Day roster for the first time in their careers when the Milwaukee Brewers take the field for the first time in 2025 Thursday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.
One of those players, right-hander Connor Thomas, will also be making his MLB debut after being selected in the Rule 5 draft last year.
Thomas is among five newcomers to the Brewers, who lost 11 players from the team that won 93 games and the NL Central Division title in 2024, making the playoffs for the sixth time in seven seasons.
