Disney and Pixar have officially announced that ‘Coco 2’ is in development and will be coming to theaters.
One of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved modern films will be returning to theaters after 12 years.

During the Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholders meeting, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that «Coco 2» was officially in development and set for a 2029 release.
«While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humor, heart, and adventure», Iger said. «And we can’t wait to share more soon.»
«Coco 2» brings back director Lee Unkrich and co-director Adrian Molina. Unkrich had previously directed «Coco» and «Toy Story 3» while Molina is the director of Pixar’s next original film, «Elio.
