Global cybersecurity firm Check Point Software Technologies said India is one of its fastest-growing regions globally, and the company is seeing an increase in the traction for its generative artificial intelligence (GenAI)-powered solutions, including a product co-developed with American chip major Nvidia. “India remains one of our fastest-growing markets, driven by strong adoption of advanced cybersecurity solutions across key sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, public sector, and manufacturing,” Sundar Balasubramanian, MD, Check Point Software Technologies, India & South Asia, told ETTelecom in an interview. “.India continues to play a significant role as a growth driver. Our expansion is underpinned by long-term investments in local talent, innovation, and infrastructure,” Balasubramanian added. The Tel Aviv-headquartered company does not disclose region-specific financials. As of the second quarter, the Asia Pacific (APAC) region – ranked third by revenue – contributed 12% to the company, growing by 15% year-on-year.
