On Tuesday, the company announced it would scrap the redesigned logo.
Cracker Barrel’s chief executive is under mounting pressure from conservative influencers to resign after the restaurant chain abruptly scrapped its new logo following a wave of backlash.
The new logo, introduced earlier this month, stripped the design down to the company’s name, dropping the image of an older man in overalls beside a barrel and the words «Old Country Store.»Why It Matters

Rival chain Steak ‘n Shake also weighed in, calling the redesign «a cheap effort to gain the approval of trend seekers.» In a statement on X, it added, «Heritage is what got Cracker Barrel this far, and now the CEO wants to just scrape it all away.
