Diddy’s Ex Virginia Huynh Supports Rapper, Says He’s No ‘Danger to Me or to the Community’

Diddy’s ex Virginia Huynh defends the rapper in court, claiming he is not a danger to the public amid his ongoing legal battles
An ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs publicly endorsed the music mogul and requested his release from prison.
In legal documents filed to Judge Arun Subramanian in the Southern District of New York on Sunday, August 3, and obtained by Us Weekly later that day, a letter penned by Virginia “Gina” Huynh requested that “the Court permit his [Diddy’s] release on bond while the case proceeds.”
The letter from Huynh, 33, who dated the music mogul, 55, on-and-off from 2014 to 2019, also states, “I am writing because I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community. This is his first criminal case.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Huynh for comment.
Huynh’s letter followed a Tuesday, July 29, motion submitted by Diddy’s legal team that requested the rapper be released on bail ahead of his October 3 sentencing. (Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.)
Diddy’s lawyers have submitted multiple requests for Diddy’s bail since the rapper’s 2024 arrest, but all were deemed unsuccessful.
Huynh’s letter acknowledged that she originally served as “Victim-3” within the prosecution’s case against Diddy. Per a report published by CNN on Sunday, the previously anonymous Huynh “mysteriously dropped out days before the trial began.
