At 19 years old, rising artist Isha Ponti has already built an impressive career in the music industry, one that spans international competitions, original hits, and even a leadership role in an up-and-coming production company.
Ponti met with members of the press on Friday, Aug. 15, at a restaurant in Quezon City, where she not only recalled her experiences in the music industry but also performed a few songs including her latest single “You Loved Me First,” a tribute to her mother.
Ponti started singing at the age of 6 and wrote her first song at 9. By 13, she entered the professional stage, representing the Philippines in international competitions.
In 2019, Ponti emerged as grand champion at the Asia Best Singing Competition Season 2 and later performed powerful renditions of Aladdin’s “Speechless” and Les Misérables’ “On My Own” at The Euro Talent Festival in the Czech Republic.
