Castrejon runs for 193 yards and two touchdowns and anchors a defense that frustrates Westminster at every turn.
Waldo Castrejon was everywhere for Calvary Chapel in Friday’s 27-14 victory over Westminster.
Castrejon ran for 193 yards and two touchdowns, then helped anchor a defense which held Westminster to minus-12 yards rushing and frustrated the Lions at nearly every turn.
“Honestly, at the end of the game we wanted to just put the knife in and end them,” said Castrejon, who had the second of three interceptions by the Eagles defense.
Colin Wiles connected with Garret Lindsey for two touchdown passes, the first a 7-yard hookup with gave the Eagles (3-0) the 7-0 lead less than five minutes into the first quarter.
The Lions (1-2) junked the run after netting 3 yards on their first possession.
