Multiple NFL teams reached out to the Philadelphia Eagles about trading for A.J. Brown.
The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for a Super Bowl rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. While the Eagles won 24-20 against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, it wasn’t a dominating performance.
The offense especially struggled, as that unit couldn’t muster up any big plays. Quarterback Jalen Hurts finished the game 19-of-23, but he threw for only 152 yards.
Most of his passes went to the tight ends and running backs, as only seven of his completions went to receivers. Star receiver A.J. Brown was non-existent, as he had one catch for eight yards on one target. With that performance, Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd suggested the Eagles could trade their receiver, potentially even to the Chiefs.
