Israel has extended its military campaign against Hamas to Qatar, where it launched an attack on Tuesday in the nation’s capital city.
Sept. 9 Israel said on Tuesday it launched an attack targeting senior Hamas leadership in Qatar’s capital, Doha.
The Israel Defense Forces said the Israeli Security Agency «conducted a precise strike» but did not specify the location of the attack.
«Prior to the strike, measures were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and additional intelligence», the IDF said.
Spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Majed Al Ansari posted to X Tuesday that his country «strongly condemns the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings housing several members of the Political Bureau of Hamas in the Qatari capital, Doha.
