On Wednesday’s episode of “Live With Kelly and Mark,” the couple reacted to “Jimmy Kimmel Live! returning to ABC, the same network that airs their morning talk show, after Kimmel’s program was briefly suspended.
“Jimmy Kimmel returned to his show last night, and listen, we know him personally, and when I tell you he’s one of the kindest, most generous people I know,” Consuelos, 54, said. “He takes care of his family, crew, his staff, everybody. He really, really cares.”
“He cares about people,” Ripa, also 54, added of Kimmel, 57.
Consuelos praised Kimmel’s Tuesday night monologue and said the comedian “was very humble in his speech.”
“One thing we can all agree on as a country is the First Amendment is really important,” the “Riverdale” actor continued. “We do a light show here. We don’t talk about any politics here.
