Lady Gaga turned heads at the 2025 VMAs in a dramatic black-and-purple ruffled gown with a bold floral headpiece, accepting the award for Artist of the Year before her NYC concert that night.

Though Lady Gaga is in the middle of her “Mayhem” tour — and has a concert later tonight at Madison Square Garden — she made time amid the madness to make an appearance at the MTV VMAs 2025.
The singer, 39, wore a puff-sleeved Marc Jacobs black and purple gown with extravagant all-over ruffles and lace to the ceremony, where she accepted an award for artist of the year.
“I wish I could stay and watch all these amazing performances, but I have to go back to Madison Square Garden,” she said at the end of her acceptance speech.
She accented her black mini-bangs and teased bun with a mauve and burgundy floral headpiece.
