Meizu 22 launch has been delayed more than once, but the company has finally opened preorders this week. While early reports suggested the phone would ship with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a fresh leak from Digital Chat Station points to something different.
According to the tipster, the Meizu 22 will instead run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The chip is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and uses a “1+7” setup, with a single high-performance Cortex-X4 core alongside seven Cortex-A720 cores at varying clock speeds.
