Three members of the Putman family — once the stars of the TLC reality series Meet the Putmans — have died following a devastating car crash in Michigan that also left several relatives injured.
Bill “Papa” Putman, his wife Barb (known to fans as Neenee), and their daughter-in-law Megan were killed in the accident, according to a statement shared by the family on Saturday.
Several other loved ones, identified as “Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia,” are currently hospitalized.
“We are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them,” the family said, adding: “Thank you for every prayer, message, and act of love. Your support means more than words can express.”
The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatal wreck occurred Friday night when a commercial semi-truck failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an SUV carrying eight members of the Cass City family.
