Demand for artificial intelligence (AI) skills continues to rise in India, with 11.7 per cent of postings on job portal Indeed in September explicitly mentioning AI, up from 10.6 per cent three months ago and 8.2 per cent a year ago, according to their hiring report released on Thursday.While AI opportunities are concentrated in the technology sector, they are increasingly spreading across other industries, reports IANS citing the report. Nearly 39 per cent of data and analytics roles now require AI skills, followed by software development (23 per cent), insurance (18 per cent), and scientific research (17 per cent).
