In one of the biggest surprise hits of the year, the quirky single-player extraction shooter Escape from Duckov has absolutely exploded onto the PC scene, selling over one million copies in its first week on Steam. Developed by Team Soda and published by Bilibili, the game’s blend of hardcore extraction mechanics and a charming duck protagonist has clearly struck a chord with players.
Launched just last week on October 16th, the top-down PvE title, which wears its Escape from Tarkov parody on its sleeve, hit 200,000 sales in its first 24 hours and crossed the half-million mark in just three days.
