Oct. 14 Meta announced Tuesday that it is filtering content on Instagram accounts for teens based on PG-13 movie ratings by default.
The changes come a little over a year after the company — which also owns Facebook — introduced «Teen accounts» with built-in restrictions for younger users and parental control.
Now, these accounts will automatically default to filter content so the teen users will see only what they’d typically see in a PG-13 movie.
