You thought the ‘Goonies’ pirate ship Lego was cool? Wait until you see the secret second set.
As glorious as Lego’s upcoming set based on The Goonies is, it’s actually better than you think. Here’s why. Last week, Lego revealed a massive new set based on the hit 1985 film. On the one side, it’s One-Eyed Willy’s ship from the end of the film. On the other side, multiple rooms capture stages of the adventure the characters go on throughout the story. It’s basically everything you love about The Goonies in one beautiful build. But, there are a few scenes missing, and it turns out Lego is bringing one extra room to life.
If you buy The Goonies set starting next month, it will come with a second set of the Walsh attic. What the heck is that? Well, the attic is where the whole adventure starts.
