The first of the month brings tons of movies, and then we go deep with a new Korean drama and more on Disney+ and Hulu.
Disney+ and Hulu now have a combined login, so you can access Hulu either in its own app or as a Disney+ channel. The Hulu app will get shut down sometime next year. Until then, Disney brings you the ultra-popular Marvel and Star Wars franchises, while Hulu covers a more adult-oriented niche with loads of movies and shows from network partners.
The two services release a ton of content every week, so I’ll make it easy for you by picking three worthwhile new entries. Moving into November gives us the library movies that always hit on the first, plus a bunch of One Piece, a new Korean drama, and Kim Kardashian. Ridley Scott’s 2021 historical drama isn’t one of his all-time classics, but The Last Duel brings enough to the table that it’s worth watching in the massive Nov. 1 movie dump. Filmed from a screenplay by long-time buddies Matt Damon and Ben Affleck with Nicole Holofcener, it tells the tale of a knight who challenges an old friend to combat over his wife, told from all three of their perspectives.

Ryan Murphy is the busiest man on television, producing and developing shows for seemingly every network. All’s Fair sees him diving into the soapy end of the pool with a saucy drama about an all-female divorce law firm. The cast is wild, with names like Glenn Close and Murphy favorite Sarah Paulson sharing the screen with Kim Kardashian and One Battle After Another standout Teyana Taylor.
