Nintendo’s latest financial report highlights 10 first-party games that are on the way for the Switch 2 console.
Nintendo’s latest financial report saw the company highlight 10 of its biggest first-party games on the horizon for the Nintendo Switch 2 alongside six third-party releases. The Switch 2 has proven to be a massive success for Nintendo. The company’s latest home console/handheld hybrid has already cleared 10 million units sold, causing Nintendo to update its hardware sales forecast.
A video game console is only as good as its games, and so Nintendo made sure that the Switch 2 had some major titles available right out of the gate. The Switch 2’s flagship launch title was the acclaimed Mario Kart World, which was quickly followed up by the release of the huge 3D platformer adventure Donkey Kong Bananza. Two more Switch 2 exclusives are set to launch this month, and many more major first-party games are on the way.
Nintendo recently highlighted its slate of upcoming first-party games for the Switch 2, with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment launching November 6 and Kirby Air Riders releasing November 20. Cross-gen game Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will come to Switch 2 on December 4 with massive enhancements compared to the Switch 1 version, including improved frame rate and resolution, while the beloved Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting a Switch 2 version on January 15, 2026.
