It would seem like Apple is desparate to catch up with the competition in the AI war, as the supposedly smarter Siri keeps getting delayed and there’s no new updates to look forward with the current suite of Apple Intelligence. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company has reportedly reached out to Google to build a custom Gemini LLM that runs on its private cloud compute servers to power the new Siri.
