IOC to Ban Transgender Athletes From Female Competitions — Reports

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is increasingly likely to bar transgender athletes (the LGBT movement is banned as extremist in Russia) from competing in women’s competitions at the Olympic Games, a newspaper reported on Monday.
The IOC currently allows federations to make their own decisions regarding the eligibility of transgender athletes for the Games. At the same time, the IOC recommends allowing transgender women to compete only if they have taken measures to reduce their testosterone levels. Jane Thornton, who is the committee’s medical and scientific director, has reportedly provided IOC members with an update last week that said there was scientific evidence that being born male provided physical advantages that remained even after reducing testosterone levels.
