Some last-minute shake-ups in Samsung’s Galaxy S26 lineup might push next year’s flagships into spring territory.
While one Android flagship is seeing a launch so early, it’s beating out the holiday season, Samsung appears content to take its time building up to the Galaxy S26 series.
After several years of late January announcements ahead of early February availability, Samsung appears to be moving its Galaxy S26 launch event back several weeks more than usual. Korean outlet Money Today published a report suggesting a February 25th Unpacked event to be held in San Francisco. While Samsung held both the Galaxy S24 and S25 events in the Bay Area, those announcements were based in neighboring San Jose, and if you’ve been remotely following the tech world’s obsession, you’ll probably be able to guess the rumored reason for the move.
