DC Studios will produce a new adaptation of the classic comic for HBO.
The James Gunn and Peter Safran era of DC Studios is expanding its television slate with a new adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ seminal work, V for Vendetta, according to Variety.
Writer Pete Jackson (Somewhere Boy) has been tapped to pen the scripts for the series based on the graphic novel that will be set for release on HBO. Additionally, the trade shared that Safran and Gunn are among the show’s producers.
