For those who miss the excitement of Arcane, or who may be disappointed with how it came to a close, these similar animated series can fill the void.
Netflix’s Arcane ended its two-season run in 2024, and the League of Legends series will not be coming back. While not flawless, Arcane was largely great and sits alongside the best animated shows of the 2020s. By the end of the decade, it will almost certainly still feature in that discussion, but it is hardly the only series to deliver a gripping story, brilliant action, and immersive worldbuilding. Blood Of Zeus
Blood of Zeus is an epic tale of betrayal, war, and enmity between mythology’s most jealous beings: The Greek Gods. When the son of a humble woman is discovered to be the heir of Zeus, Hera becomes tremendously mad, and we all know how it goes from there. War, assassination attempts, and epic conflict are aplenty in a series that combines the best of modern animation with the classic myths from Olympus.
Though it has dropped a little bit in quality from season 1, the second delivery of this incredible tale doesn’t disappoint fans of thrilling adventure and epic battles. This is a great series to watch if fans liked the pacing of Arcane. 7
The Dragon Prince
With five seasons up and running, The Dragon Prince, produced by Wonderstorm and Bardel Entertainment, is a thrilling journey of adventure, love, friendship, and most importantly, dragons. With unique lore and a light sense of humor, it is a story that has been tailored for all audiences.
It follows the adventures of two princes from the Kingdom of Katodis. When tragedy strikes at their home, they pair up with the most unlikely of allies to return a Dragon Egg to her mother, before tragedy befalls the whole kingdom.
