Erika Kirk calls out false rumors surrounding her family’s tragedy on Fox News.
To be fair, the widow of Charlie Kirk did not use the word «ghouls.» That is my assessment of those who insist on spreading false rumors and malicious conspiracy theories to profit from his assassination. And perhaps Erika Kirk would only correct my usage to change it from plural to singular.
Mrs. Kirk appeared with Harris Faulkner this afternoon on Fox News Channel’s Outnumbered to address the proliferation of nonsense clickbait that attempts to profit off of her misery, entirely at her expense. She told Faulkner that this is a «mind virus», and that she and her family are now enduring threats of kidnappings and worse just so that so-called influencers can continue «making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love, because, somehow, they’re in on this.»
