Chelsea Handler will host the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards (CCA), which will be held on Sunday, January 4.
Critics Choice Awards (CCA) 2026 is just a couple of days away from its worldwide live telecast. The 31st annual award ceremony will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, January 4. The star-studded event will begin at 7:00 pm EST and honor the best in televised, streaming, and cinematic achievements. It will be broadcast live through E! and USA Network from 7:00 pm EST.
The organizers have added four new categories to the award show this year. They are Best Variety Series, Best Stunt Design, Best Casting and Ensemble, and Best Sound. The nominees were announced last month through an exclusive live broadcast on E! and USA Network. Sinners topped the list in the film category with 17 nods, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Young Actor / Actress.
Adolescence led the nomination list in the television session with six nods, including Best Limited Series, Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television, and Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television. After revealing the nominees, CCA CEO Joey Berlin shared that the organizers are excited to officially kick-start the Award Season 2026.

The confirmed lineup of presenters includes Colman Domingo, Diego Luna, Quinta Brunson, Regina Hall, Jeff Goldblum, Noah Schnapp, Allison Janney, Kaley Cuoco, Ava DuVernay, Bradley Whitford, Billy Bob Thornton, McKenna Grace, and William H. Macy.
