Long after tourists had cleared the hills above Los Angeles, an unexpected figure reportedly appeared near one of the city’s most famous landmarks.
According to Fox News, a video obtained by TMZ shows actress Sydney Sweeney climbing the Hollywood sign late at night as part of a promotional effort tied to the launch of her upcoming lingerie line.
The footage shows the “Euphoria” star dressed head-to-toe in black — cargo pants, hoodie, and hat — as she moved along the iconic structure. At one point, Sweeney appeared to hang a clothesline of bras across part of the sign while being recorded.
TMZ reported that Sweeney and her production team did have a permit from FilmLA to film in the vicinity of the Hollywood sign. However, that authorization did not extend to climbing or physically touching the landmark itself.
In a statement provided to TMZ, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the intellectual property rights associated with the Hollywood sign, confirmed that no such permission had been granted.
