Come next year, two horror franchises—The Exorcist and Paranormal Activity—will return to theaters, months apart from each other.
On Friday night, Universal dated the next Exorcist flick for March 13, 2027. Written and directed by Mike Flanagan, the film stars Scarlett Johansson and Jacobi Jupe. While details on this movie are currently scare, it’s been billed as a “radical new take” on the franchise, whose last installment was The Exorcist: Believer back in 2023.
