Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher "Bong" Go on Sunday downplayed the landing of another Chinese military aircraft in the Philippines. "I think pangalawa na ito na nag-refuel sa Davao… pero itong request na 'to was received, processed, cleared by relevant Philippine agencies," he told reporters in Antipolo City. This comes after another Chinese aircraft—the second in three weeks— was spotted at the Davao International Airport past noon on Saturday. "The landing was requested for a specific refueling and was granted and was given specific conditions with the compliance of the requested party," said Go. The same explanation was given earlier by presidential spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. When informed by reporters that Magdalo Representative Gary Alejano, a vocal administration critic, had brought up the issue, Go replied, "Alam niyo po, si Congressman Alejano, Navy ka naman eh.
