Xiaomi has a massive market in India and it is expected to get bigger because the smartphone company is expected to launch five brand new devices in the country.
The highly anticipated Android One smartphone Mi A2 manufactured by the Chinese phone maker Xiaomi and is the successor to the decent and should we also add, another Android One smartphone, the Mi A1. The sleek Mi A2 flaunts a wide screen of 5.99 inches with a full HD+ 2160 x 1080 display along with 16M colors and an 18:9 aspect ratio.
This Android 8.1 Oreo-based smartphone packs a mean punch thanks to the octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset along with a 4GB of RAM for fast processing and the ability to open and keep multiple apps running at the same time. Mi A2 also has an internal storage of 64GB that can be expanded by using a microSD card. Its 3010mAh battery keeps it going all through the day and because it is an upcoming Android One phone, it will receive software and security updates much faster.
With its 5.45-inch HD+ screen and 1440 x 720 resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 will be displaying excellent colors and clear images even though it features a resolution lower than the rest of the devices mentioned.
This phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo and it is running a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset along with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. You also get 32 or 64GB of expandable internal storage depending on the model that you purchase. The Redmi 6 also features a dual 12 + 5MP camera at the back, with a 5MP camera at the front. As for the battery capacity, it is a 3000mAh unit.
The upcoming Redmi 6A is an affordable 5.45-inch HD+ screen and the successor to the Redmi 5A. The Redmi 6A will be running the latest Android Oreo 8.1 ‘out of the box’ and its processor is running in a MediaTek Helio A11 chipset that ensures fairly good processing.
The Redmi 6A also features 2GB RAM, and a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter for seamless picture snapping. This device has an internal storage of 16GB that can be expanded by using a microSD card. A non-removable 3000mAh battery fuels the smartphone and enables it enough to easily support a talk time of up to 6 hours.
Mi 8 is the most powerful smartphone that is expected to come to India soon and features a 6.21-inch full+ HD AMOLED screen. The Oreo-running handset is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM for perfect functioning. The smartphone has an onboard internal storage of 64GB that unfortunately, is not expandable.
However, 64GB is enough and there will rarely be a need of any microSD card though you can also choose to purchase a higher storage model if you wish. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is also the first Android smartphone to feature 3D facial recognition hardware. The device is also backed a battery of 3400mAh that works throughout the day if the phone is used reasonably. The camera side seems a dual 12MP rear camera and a 20MP front camera.
The 5.88-inch full+ HD AMOLED screen of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is quite large given its thin bezels and the smartphone based on Android Oreo. It is also the first powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC and is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on your choice. Mi 8 SE is also able to capture all your moments perfectly as it is equipped with the dual 12 + 5MP rear shooters along with a 20MP front-facing camera.
There is an internal storage space of 64GB in the Mi 8 SE that is fixed and non-expandable. However, the storage space is more than enough and you will surely not face any issues at all under normal use. The phone is fueled by a non-removable 3120mAh battery that helps the phone stay functional through the day with a decent amount of usage from the owner. This phone can be the second best option for people who will face financial difficulties in affording the Mi 8.
