The victim is a Kalamazoo resident, police say.
OTTAWA COUNTY, MI — Police identified Megan Mangione, 28, of Kalamazoo, as the victim of a single-car crash early Monday, Aug. 27, on I-96.
She was driving west in Ottawa County’s Crockery Township when her car left the road and went into the median, striking trees, sheriff’s deputies said.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. near the 12-mile marker. Police said her 2003 Buick left the expressway and struck trees in a heavily wooden median.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash, police said. Mangione was alone in her car.
