Fortnite fans who complete the Season 5 Week 10 challenges may be disappointed to learn that there is no hidden banner or battle star to collect this week.
Fortnite‘s Season 5 Week 10 challenges have been live in the game for a couple of days now, and they task players with completing a variety of objectives in exchange for rewards. Past weeks have offered some secret objectives as well after completing the listed challenges, but it seems as though there are no secrets to discover after beating all the Week 10 challenges in Fortnite.
After completing the first seven weeks of challenges in Season 5, Fortnite players unlocked loading screens that teased the location of a hidden battle star somewhere on the map. Then Weeks 8 and 9 switched things up a bit by having players find hidden banners in the environment instead of hidden battle stars, which were also found by deciphering clues from an unlockable loading screen.
Week 10, however, doesn’t have any hidden banners or hidden battle stars for players to find. In fact, it doesn’t seem to have any additional secrets for players to uncover, so once they complete all of the Week 10 challenges, they are basically done until Epic Games launches Season 6. However, completing the Week 10 challenges does unlock a new loading screen, which may tease what’s coming in Season 6.
The Season 5 Week 10 loading screen in Fortnite shows a character touching the mysterious purple cube that appeared on the map a couple weeks ago. The character sees an evil reflection of themselves in the cube, possibly teasing that Season 6’s theme is “evil” or something along those lines.
Of course, that’s just speculation at this time, and we likely won’t have concrete details about what Season 6 has in store until Epic itself is ready to share them. However, a potential leak may have revealed some details early, like the cube exploding, Loot Lake having a black hole, a revamped version of Lonely Lodge, and the Wailing Woods bunker opening. Before fans get too excited about those changes, though, they should keep in mind that they’re only rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt.
We don’t know exactly what Season 6 has in store, but we do know that it will be bringing with it some major changes to Fortnite, just like we’ve seen with previous seasons. With that in mind, Fortnite players should play the current version of the map as much as they can before Season 6 arrives.
Fortnite is out now in early access for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
