The Los Angeles Galaxy held a contest to find singers for the national anthem — and they really found a winner.
7-year-old Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja submitted a video of her singing in the hopes of singing on the field before the game. When she found out she was chosen as the winner, she couldn’t help but scream in celebration.

Many were expecting Tjandrawidjaja to have a good voice and kick off the soccer game with an adorable performance, but no one was expecting such powerful vocals out of such a little girl.

Not only did Tjandrawidjaja have the opportunity to sing before the game, but she also got to meet a few of the players after the game.

With all of the warm reactions Tjandrawidjaja has received from her stellar performance, it probably will not be the last time she’ll belt out the national anthem to a stadium of people.
