Destiny 2 update 2.0.4 has added a number of buffs, nerfs, and changes to a variety of weapons, armor, and abilities in the game.
Destiny 2 update 2.0.4 has now been activated, bringing in a number of nerfs, buffs, and various changes to the game in its latest update, which will hopefully make Gambit more fair along with bringing in some changes that Bungie thought were needed to everything from scout rifles to Sleeper Simulant.
First off, we have various changes to all three of the game’s classes, with a number of abilities also being changed. To start off with, we have Titans. Throwing Hammers now can’t be picked and used if your own Throwing Hammer ability isn’t fully charged. The Burning Maul slam attack has also been changed to not set off melee based perks. Banner Shield also is safer, and no longer able to be penetrated by weapons with the armor-piercing perk or other overpenetrating abilities. Resupply can also benefit allies behind obstacles.
Hunters got an issue fixed where the Kill Clip ability wouldn’t pop if they reloaded their weapon while using Marksman’s Dodge while having the Dragon’s Shadow Exotic chest piece equipped. Destiny 2 update 2.0.4 also messed around a lot with Warlocks, including things like abilities keeping weapon abilities from activating, friendly fire issues and others with Handheld Supernova, not performing the Atomic Breach ability while using the Escalation Protocol sword’s heavy attack, and more.
Armor, weapons, Gambit, and the Crucible have also gotten some changes in Destiny 2 update 2.0.4. These include things like weapons being too loud when used, Sleeper Simulant’s auto-aim being nerfed to balance it more in Gambit, other weapons having their auto-aim buffed, crash issues in regards to friendly fire, Iron Banner bounty adjustments, and work on items, Triumphs, Bounties, and more.
Bungie has also released the patch notes for Destiny 2 update 2.0.4, so if you’re curious about something that’s not here in this article, you can follow this link to look at the notes for yourself. Festival of the Lost is starting today as well, so all of this should hopefully help to make things during this time even more fun.
