Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D., Texas) shifted in his response to the oft-asked question about whether he will mount a campaign for president in 2020, saying Friday he hadn’t made a decision after previously stating he wouldn’t run .
A TMZ cameraman found O’Rourke walking near the Capitol and asked him whether he had thought about making a White House bid against President Donald Trump.

O’Rourke answered questions about the White House during the campaign and repeatedly said he wouldn’t run, whether he defeated Cruz or not.
«I will not be a candidate for president in 2020,» he said at one point. «That’s I think as definitive as those sentences get.»
