Jaguars' Running Back Leonard Fournette Says Loss Is His Fault

The Jaguars fail to get into the win column against the Bills and drop their seventh consecutive game. Running back Leonard Fournette was ejected from the game as the team’s frustrations continue to mount.

The Jaguars (3-8) spent most of this season waiting for running back Leonard Fournette to be healthy enough to play after he injured his hamstring in the first half of the season opener. On Sunday, Fournette was ejected after running on the field late in the third quarter and fighting during Jacksonville’s 24-21 loss to Buffalo (4-7) which was a turning point in the game.
“We lost the game, should’ve won this game hands down,” Fournette told reporters in Buffalo after the game. “I take the full responsibility.”
With the game tied 14-14 late in the third quarter, Fournette left the Jaguars’ bench and got into an altercation with Bills’ defensive end Shaq Lawson after Jaguars’ wide receiver Donte Moncrief made a spectacular catch on the goal line by getting past cornerback Bills’ cornerback Levi Wallace.

“I just went up and made a play and he [Levi Wallace] was trying to fight for the ball,” Moncrief said.
