KALAMAZOO, MI — Running back LeVante Bellamy and offensive guard Luke Juriga each earned first team All-Mid-American Conference honors to headline a group of six Western Michigan football players on the league’s postseason awards list.
Freshman Jayden «Bird» Reed was a second team pick at wide receiver and a second team pick as a punt returner, while senior center John Keenoy joined the rookie with All-MAC second team honors.
Running back Jamauri Bogan and tight end Gio Ricci rounded out the Broncos’ all-conference selections with third team recognition.
The MAC’s only team with two running backs on the postseason awards list, Bellamy led the league in rushing yards (1,172), rushing yards per game (97.7) and all-purpose yards (1,567), while Bogan led the conference and ranked 13th in the nation with 15 rushing touchdowns.
