Kingdom Hearts 3 is nearly here, and fans are ready to dive into the next chapter in Sora’s story to find all the secrets in the game — including the secret movie.
Secret movies are a staple of the Kingdom Hearts series, and Kingdom Hearts 3 is no exception. While the secret movie won’t be in the game at launch, fans will be able to unlock the movie ahead of time so they can view it when the update arrives on January 31. Series director Tetsuya Nomura has even given fans a breakdown on how to unlock the secret movie so they can get it unlocked on their first playthrough.
Typically unlocking secret movies in Kingdom Hearts involves finding a bunch of collectibles or hidden items, and Kingdom Hearts 3 follows a similar trend. Spread throughout the worlds that Sora, Donald, and Goofy explore are “lucky marks” in the shape of the iconic Mickey Mouse head.
