Gov. Andy Beshear reported 576 new cases of COVID-19 in Kentucky on Tuesday, the second highest number in a single day in the state during the entire coronavirus pandemic.
Those cases bring the total number of virus cases in Kentucky to 20,223, Beshear reported.
There were also six new deaths reported, bringing the total number of virus deaths in Kentucky at 635.
The number of people hospitalized currently is at 234, bringing total patients ever hospitalized in the state to about 3,200.
