Galaxy S20 series users on Verizon in the U.S. have begun receiving the Android 11-based One UI 3 update. The rollout has just begun for the carrier-locked devices and brings a bunch of new features.
Less than a day after Samsung’s release schedule for the Android 11-based One UI 3 update was spotted, users have begun reporting on Reddit and our comments that the Galaxy S20 series has begun receiving the update in the U.S., specifically the devices on Verizon’s network. The rollout falls in line with the December timeframe spotted in the roadmap today and the South Korean company’s promise to serve the update for the S20 lineup before the end of the year.
