Vice President-elect Kamala Harris is revealing how her husband will officially be addressed once the Biden administration takes office. CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Harris if her husband, Doug Emhoff, will be called “the Second Gentleman? Is he the Second Dude? What should we be calling him?” Harris laughed at Tapper’s suggestion and answered, “Well, I think that the term has evolved into the Second Gentleman.” Tapper joked, “The Second Gentleman. I like Second Dude, but I will defer.” Harris responded, “I think some of his friends are inclined to say that.” Tapper added, “But you’ll call him the Second Gentleman.” Harris smiled, “No, I’ll call him honey.” Harris made history by becoming the first woman, first Black American, and first Asian American to win the vice presidency.
