Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) is insisting former President Donald Trump is “not going to be our nominee” in 2024. Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade noted House Republicans voted to oust Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) from leadership on Wednesday. He played a clip of Cheney saying, “I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.” When asked if he feels the same way, Cassidy replied, “I absolutely feel like we need a Republican Party which is committed to conservative values that will bring it forward.
