The theme park has relaunched several of its rides and attractions since it initially reopened last month.
A month after reopening its gates, Universal Studios Hollywood has relaunched several of its rides and shows including The DreamWorks Theatre featuring Kung Fu Panda, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and The Simpsons Ride. Last week, the park reopened its dry and wet playgrounds located within Super Silly Fun Land adjacent to the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem dark ride and the extended Dino Play area near the Jurassic World ride. Socially distanced character meet-and-greets will continue throughout the park — including the Raptor Encounter — for the foreseeable future. After a yearlong closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Universal Studios Hollywood officially welcomed back guests on April 16 with several of its primary attractions: the all-new Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash, the updated Jurassic World water ride, the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Transformers 3-D dark rides, Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster, the Studio Tour with Fast & Furious — Supercharged and King Kong 360 3D and the Universal’s Animal Actors show.
