The 2020 — well, the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo are almost here. The games may look and feel a bit different than in years past, as fans aren’t permitted to attend in Tokyo because of COVID-19 precautions, but the Olympics are back nevertheless. With opening ceremonies beginning on Friday, Olympic fans finally get to watch the world’s best athletes compete after the postponement of the 2020 Olympics. In total, six athletes with Iowa ties will compete in the Tokyo games.
