When it comes to plastic surgery, less is definitely more — unless you want to end up looking like a celebrity in all the wrong ways. Some superstars such as Chrissy Teigen and Madonna, who are often accused of getting aggressive work done by the Twitterverse, are becoming cautionary tales. Experts warn that some trendy procedures — which often start off subtle but add up — can do more harm than good, and (gasp!) even make you look worse. Teigen recently revealed on Instagram that she underwent a cosmetic surgical procedure to have fat removed from her cheeks called buccal fat removal. However, experts warn that this procedure — and others that have spiked in popularity — might have disastrous side effects down the line, most notably accelerated aging. The Post looks at four examples of possibly dubious procedures and what could have been done instead. “I did that Dr. Diamond buccal fat removal thing here,” Teigen said, pointing to her cheeks, and captioning the clip, “no shame in my dr diamond game.” Dr. Jason Diamond is best known for appearing on E!’s “Dr.90210,” as well as Netflix’s “Celebrity Plastic Surgeons.” Other celeb patients include Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton and Katy Perry. The outspoken Teigen,35, who’s a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl, has been catching shade from some doctor detractors. Dr. Tijion Esho, a cosmetic doctor who appears on BBC Morning Live, tweeted that this procedure will “rapidly… age her.” “The main issue from photos was her over treated jaw,” the UK-based physician stated. “I would have removed her jaw line filler and used Botox to the masseters for better effect and reassessed from there.” Even armchair critics are warning against the procedure aging someone in the future. “This is gonna make her age so much faster and she didn’t even Need it in the first place,” tweeted a random follower named Nicole. Unsurprisingly, plastic surgeons often advise against the well-known surgery. “Buccal fat removal is an old procedure. It’s not that it’s a bad procedure, but as people get older, and women specifically, the buccal fat atrophies,” Dr.
