A new leak says that Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ technology is in development, and it’ll be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S22 range.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is expected in the coming weeks, and the latest leak has suggested that all three members of the series will come with a new strengthened glass to protect from drops and other damage. A new leak from popular tipster Ice Universe has said that the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a new tech called Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. We’ve seen Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on existing smartphones — it’s even on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra — and it’s believed this new Plus version will be an improvement in some way. Sadly, we don’t know exactly what that will be. Corning hasn’t yet revealed this tech, and Ice Universe didn’t provide any detail on what sort of protection this new upgrade will offer.
