The family of Halyna Hutchins has settled with Alec Baldwin and Rust Movie Productions for an undisclosed amount in the wake of the cinematographer’s 2021 death on the set of Rust—paving the way for the movie to be completed. Hutchins’ family sued Baldwin and the movie’s producers in February, alleging «reckless conduct and cost-cutting measures» led to Hutchins’ death. Once the settlement is approved, that case will be dismissed, reports CNN.
