This network, known as mycelium, has demonstrated interesting proprieties regarding sustainable technology and electronics.
According to research by Austrian scientists aptly named MycelioTronics, the Ganoderma lucidum fungus covers its mycelium with a skin-like substance to protect it from bacteria and other fungi.
