Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users are in the process of receiving an update that will allow them to determine who is talking in a Meet video conference.
Google announced today in a blog post that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models are on the receiving end of an update that is bringing «speaker separation» to Google Meet. Google says that when this feature is enabled, «you’ll hear the audio of other participants from different directions based on their position on screen» making it «easier to distinguish different speakers and hear where they’re coming from for a more immersive, dynamic experience.»
With this in place during a Google Meet video conference, that sleazy VP from the Kalamazoo office, the one fooling around with his secretary and her daughter, can’t take credit for that brilliant idea you know came out of the mouth of that wily old veteran who works in the Rochester office.
