My Hero Academia chapter 389 will keep the focus on the Todoroki family and Dabi’s struggle.
My Hero Academia chapter 388 was released earlier today and it built up the conclusion of the Todoroki Family plotline even further. Fans know that this plotline has been brewing for the past few chapters now and it is close to getting concluded. All eyes are currently on My Hero Academia chapter 389 and it’s going to be very interesting to see how Horikoshi tackles this plotline from here onwards.

Without a doubt, Horikoshi won’t be skipping to any other scene until this plotline gets resolved or progresses at least a bit more. As such, fans should expect the Todoroki Family plotline to be the crux of the next chapter of the manga.
In the previous chapter, fans saw Rei jump into the fire and use her Frost powers to keep herself from burning. She then proceeded to use her powers to lower the heat produced by Toya and attempted to save him. Surprisingly, she was followed by her two children in Natsuo and Fuyumi. Both of them have suffered quite a great deal and do not want to lose any more members of their family. The Todoroki Family has been in pain for quite a long time and they certainly deserve happy memories. Not wanting to lose any more of their family members, Natsuo and Fuyumi also follow their mother and try to save Toya. It must be remembered that they also have the powers of the Frost quirk and with it, they will most likely continue to lower the temperature of Toya in My Hero Academia chapter 389.
The Todoroki Family has reunited here and this means that saving Toya is now possible. However, this task is mammoth and would require their very best and impeccable teamwork.
